Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation Energy Sovereignty with Microgrids and EV Charging

Back

The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation (CTCR), with 1.4 million acres of land located in Washington State, is driving an Energy Sovereignty Plan to enhance the lives of their tribal members with greater grid resiliency and access to EV Charging Infrastructure. The plan heavily emphasizes Microgrids, EV Charging for the public and for an alternative fuel revenue source, Tribal Fleet Electrification, and a future vision for bi-directional enabled Electrified School Buses.

Matthew Pleasants, Centralized Services Director, will share why the plan is important to this tribal nation and how they are executing. OATI, as a preferred Microgrid Controls and Smart EV Charging partner, in support of their mission, will add to the conversation.

In this session, attendees will learn:

o    Highlights of the broader plan and leveraging grant funding

o    About their current and anticipated future challenges

o    About one of their first deployments at their Tribal Headquarters Government Center project
